Sifu Bill Luciano

Sifu Luciano has began his martial arts training in 1973 in the Pai-Lum system under Mr. Richard Macey. In 1981 he started training under Ms. Marcia Pickands, who owned and operated the White Lotus Kung Fu school in Albany, NY. Not merely a senior instructor in the Pai-Lum system, Ms. Pickands also was the adopted granddaughter of Pai Lum Grandmaster, Daniel K. Pai. In 1984, Mr. Luciano attained a “first higher level” ranking and was given the Pai Family name of Pai Ying-Hao, and in 1986 he attained the rank of full instructor (“third higher level”) and became Ms. Pickands’ senior student.

In 1990, Mr. Luciano began training primarily under Mr. David L. Smith and his senior student, Daniel Anhalt, and has been training in three different systems: Pai Family Boxing, 18 Bronzeman Method, and T’ai Chi Ch’uan. In 1995, Mr. Luciano was fortunate enough to meet and begin training under Mr. Kwan Sai-Hung, a Taoist from Hua Mountain with 65 years of experience. Mr. Kwan Sai-Hung has been teaching Mr. Luciano Hsing-I Ch’uan, Pa-Kua Chang, and T’ai Chi Ch’uan.
