Dan Donzella will use the foundations of your own system to instruct the use of a scarf or rope as a weapon. He will teach how basic blocks and locks can be translated into this weapon context, while featuring the Indonesian perspective on flexible weaponry.
Vincent Anthony will showcase Nunchaku Jutsu — the use of nunchaku to block, trap, grapple, and throw. The class will focus on the basics of timing, blocking and trapping as well as joint locks, manipulation, and throws. Each student will be required to bring a pair of practice Nunchaku, which also will be on sale at SMAF.
