BIOGRAPHY

Tony DiSarro (Renshi) has been a student of the martial arts for 30 years. He is currently a senior representative of the Sei Kosho Shorei Kai under Bruce Juchnik Hanshi and has been a student of Juchnik Hanshi since 1995. He is also the upstate NY regional director of the Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai under Sensei Roy Goldberg, and has been a student of Goldberg Senseis since 2003. Tony has had the great honor to train with many world class instructors throughout  the world in a variety of different martial arts, and along his journey has acquired a great deal of insight into the similarities (as well as the differences) of the many different combative arts practiced around the globe. His goal is to pass on the teachings of his instructors to future generations with the hope that he can represent them properly with dignity and honor. Focusing on the concepts and principles that apply to martial movement, Tony's teaching style is based on showing practitioners how natural movements are the basis for all technique. Tony has been a long time friend and colleague of SMAF, and has done his best to be an ambassador to this great event, bringing talented teachers to Saratoga to present and become members of the SMAF family!
